Road Racing, Karting, & Hill Climbs

Road Racing

Susquehanna Region does not have any top-level road courses or super speedways within our geographic boundaries, but there are several tracks we can call "close to home" and get to with just a short drive.

Summit Point, WV - Pocono Raceway, PA - Dover, DE

Contact Steve Limbert (preferably by phone at 717-432-4116) to find out about getting started in wheel to wheel road-race action. You can start out as a flagger/corner marshall, pit crew or mechanic, technical inspector, just a spectator, or become the driver.

Karting

Susquehanna region hosts a series of indoor karts, outdoor karts, and enduro race karts at Speedway 94, in Hanover. We have run an indoor/winter series, an outdoor fall series, and in 2007 a summer enduro series in the high speed (wingless) karts.

Hill Climb

Hill Climbs are a timed event where drivers navigate up a hill or mountain road. As in autocross, it is against the clock and not wheel to wheel. The PA Hill Climb Association holds these in locations around PA. Several SUSQ region members participate.

Contact Ken Taggart to find out more, or contact the PHA.
